Purpose: To provide staff in a supervisory position with the tools to manage, train and lead lifeguards in an open water environment. Provide a forum to exchange ideas with peers.
Who should attend: Lifeguard Captains, Senior Staff, Beach Managers and anyone who oversees lifeguards in an open water environment.

It is recommended that participants in this academy take the online Red Cross Lifeguard Management course.
A Red Cross lifeguard re-cert and instructor in the water up date will be scheduled for Sunday May 13th. Newport County YMCA. An additional Fee $50 for the lifeguard re-cert.
